Since the 1600's the Rose family has farmed the land on the Branford/North Branford townline. Over the last hundred years the farm has alternated from an orchard, which was decimated during the Hurricane of '38, to a dairy farm, and back again to an orchard in the early '70s. Currently we have expanded our offerings to include a greenhouse filled with tomatoes, other vegetables, bedding plants, and hanging baskets. In addition the family makes their own maple syrup, operates a soft serve frozen custard stand and a bakery, and is expanding their agri-tourism business.
The farm market is open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. seven days a week.
The Creamery is open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 pm.
The Rose Farm is committed to providing good family fun in a beautiful outdoor setting complete with farm animals for the children to feed, a hay maze for children to play in, and a scenic hayride tour through a covered bridge and the woods enjoyed by young and old alike.
